Farewell Summertime

Is there a better way to say goodbye to the summer of 2010 than to peruse this gallery from The Daily Beast?  It is filled with iconic stills from our nation's history, and some not so well knowns...but images that scream summertime.  Take one last look before turning back, then gear up for sweater weather and put on a pot of chili! Before you know it, the cool winds of autumn will be whistling around the eaves and we'll all be raking up what has (in my father-in-law's words) blown in from Indiana.
